Job Opening: Shipper/Receiver

We are hiring in Lyons, NY for a Shipping & Receiving Associate with a strong background in hand tools and good “mechanical aptitude”

Additional training is provided and promotional opportunities are available for those who take initiative to expand their know ledge and skills.

Family Friendly Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Wednesday 7am – 4:30pm & Thursday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm

(Off on Major holidays)

Starting Pay at: $19-20 (Based on experience)

Job Summary:

• Some assembly work
• Passivating stainless steel weldments
• Quality Control (checking fabricated parts to prints, using measuring tools)
• Occasional cleaning/housekeeping (emptying garbage cans in shop portion of building, organizing shipping and receiving area, cleaning trucks)
• Boxing and palletizing parts for shipment
• Receiving parts and checking for order accuracy
• Unloading and loading trucks with use of forklift, pallet jacks, and crane
• Local deliveries (CDL not required, but would be a plus)
• Communicate with internal departments regarding shipping and receiving items

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must have experience using various measuring tools (tape measure, etc)
• Must be experienced with using hand tools (drilling, tapping, and grinding)
• Must have experience reading blue prints/drawings
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
