Job Opening: Accountant

Remedy Staffing is Hiring for a Direct Hire Accountant for a Company in Ankeny, IA!

Starting Pay: $70,000 – $110,000/year

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)

Accountant Duties:

• Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with payroll, month end, quarter end and year end payroll taxes
• Manage tax preparation and filing
• Assist in corporate finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA certification strongly preferred
• Experience in tax preparation and compliance is highly desirable
