Job Opening: Welcome Center Representative

Location: Jennings, FL

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; 8am-5pm

Pay: $15/ph

Duration: until the end of February 2025; may extend according to the needs of the center

Center is looking for a great Center Representative to greet and welcome visitors. Provide visitors with information, literature, and refreshments, and maintain materials in rack positions. Participate in special events to celebrate and encourage tourism.

Essential functions:

• Provide information and exceptional customer service to visitors at the information desk. Provide literature, maps, directions, road conditions, mileage estimates, and travel advisories.
• Assist visitors in the center and vending area. Maintain knowledge of brochure content and placement.
• Provide refreshments to visitors at the counter. Maintain the refreshments. track and report daily usage and assist with refreshment orders.
• Maintain supplies of brochures.
• Facilitate reservations for hotels, campgrounds, attractions, state parks, and museums.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the center and office area. May include mopping, sweeping, cleaning, and emptying and taking out trash.

• HS Diploma
• 2 years of equivalent work experience
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work front-line counter
• Team player
