We are seeking to hire a Sheetfed Press Operator for our valued client in Sun Prairie, WI!

• Day Shift: 6am-4pm Mon-Fri

The Pay for the Sheetfed Press Operator:

• $19/hr
• Over time pay is paid at 1.5x your rate, after 40 hours per week is worked

Job Duties of the Sheetfed Press Operator:

• Run the crew
• Administrative duties: quality checklist, layout sheet, target sheet, file folder, color proofs
• Read & understand job ticket, layout sheet
• Enter job into Technique
• Setup perf if needed
• Setup coater if needed
• Oversee press for possible problems: correct/enough paper stock, check water system conductivity, pH and temperature
• Fine tune register
• Pull customer copies
• Tape up color proofs
• Make sure proper plates are out at press for next run
• Help wash up press
• Perform & participate in all other press positions when needed

• Previous machine operation experience
• Problem analysis and problem resolution abilities
• Mathematical skills: percentages, ratios, proportions to practical solutions; ability to read dimensions with a scale and perform calculations of measurements in both fraction and decimal format
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for full shift
• You will be working in a manufacturing facility; standing, lifting, stretching, twisting, and bending during the entire shift
