Reputable local company looking for a Sales Development Manager to lead and build the sales team. Looking for a dynamic individual who can support the company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage Sales Team: Oversee a team of Sales Representatives, providing coaching, training, and support to ensure they meet or exceed their goals.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop effective outbound strategies that align with sales and marketing objectives.
- Pipeline Management: Continuously monitor lead generation activities, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Set performance metrics, analyze data, and deliver regular reports on team performance and sales funnel health.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Foster the development of individual team members through regular feedback, 1:1s, and ongoing professional development.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to ensure alignment on messaging, campaigns, and lead nurturing.
- Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and improve sales development processes to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Recruitment & Talent Management: Assist in hiring and onboarding new SDRs, helping to grow the team as the company scales.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales development or outbound sales management, specifically in B2B sales.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
- Must have at least five years of sales experience with three years of managing a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales development targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
