Job Opening: Standup Forklift Operator

Standup Forklift Operator Needed in SW Omaha, Nebraska!

Shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekends

Pay: $22.50/Hr.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Standup Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise in our logistics operations. With a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy, our Standup Forklift Operator will handle a variety of tasks involving the use of a standup forklift to ensure the smooth flow of goods throughout the warehouse. If you have experience operating standup forklifts and thrive in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Operate standup forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload merchandise from trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
• Stack and organize products in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization.
• Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and tracking of items.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and meet production goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
