Job Opening: Quality Control Technician

Immediate 2nd Shift Temp-to-Hire Quality Control Technician Job in Ottumwa, IA!

Hours: Monday – Friday (weekends as needed), from 12:00/12:30pm – 8:30/9:00pm

Starting Pay: $18.00/hr
($19.16 when F/T and then $20.16 in 9 months)

Duties:

• Perform laboratory testing procedures on raw ingredients and finished products
• Conduct and record results of audits and inspections on reports and computer programs.
• Calibrate and operate refractometer, PH meter, Auto Titrator, Density meter, Spectrophotometer.
• Cleaning labs and testing equipment.
• Gather, record, and store finished product retained samples.
• Submit samples for in-house microbiological testing.
• Assist with support on QA projects.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
• BS or AA degree in any science or technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of related QA experience in a manufacturing environment.
