Job Opening: Warehouse Packaging & Production

Packaging at our Iowa City client location!

Remedy Staffing is proud to work with some of the finest companies in the corridor. 

Our client is an internationally known consumer products manufacturer.  Our associates will work on the production lines to perform quality control, place product on the line for packaging and preparing product for shipment. 

Pay: $15.50 up to $16.50 per hour based on shift

Shift: 1st Shift 7:00AM-3:15PM

Location: Iowa City, Iowa

The associate’s job duties will include:

• Standing in a stationary position and placing product into passing boxes

• Placing product and information into the container, ensuring product is not damaged

• Ensuring all packaging and display material is undamaged and in good condition

• Assembling boxes and packaging for the product

• Placing product onto pallets for shipment

• Maintaining a clean work area free of debris or trip hazards

Qualified applicants will be able to:

• Stand for entire shift

• Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

• Maintain attention to detail to spot flawed or damaged product

• Report on time and be ready to begin production at shift start times

• Wear proper GMP as required by the site

• Successfully complete National Background check and drug screen

• Previous packaging experience a plus
