Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Rate: $15.60/hr.
Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 AM to 5:00 PM) – Swing Shift with flexible days off
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in the Orlando, FL area. The ideal candidate will perform specific duties to ensure the production of high-quality and food-safe products that meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce all GMP, Quality Specifications, and Food Safety compliance.
- Utilize proper PPE and follow OSHA guidelines.
- Conduct Pre-Op Inspections and document Corrective Actions.
- Perform daily GMP monitoring and maintain checklists.
- Conduct environmental swabs as specified in ATP sampling procedures.
- Download and analyze ATP results.
- Perform product specification analysis based on customer requirements and document findings.
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications.
- Review and resolve Non-Conforming Product issues daily.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment and complete sign-off forms.
- Manage raw product inventory, including old age and dump reports.
Qualifications:
- Verifiable and stable work experience as a Quality Assurance Technician within the food industry.
- Basic understanding of food microbiology and water chemistry.
- Knowledge of process and quality procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, is required.

External Basic Qualifications:
Quality Assurance Technician Experience Required
•Willing to work a flexible shift.
•Willing and able to stand at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
•Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
•Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
•High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
•At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment.
•At least 6 months experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning.
•At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory
