Shift:
Days/1st shift: 6am-4pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $20-$25 Depending on Experience

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and repair of our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently by performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a variety of diesel engines. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with heavy-duty trucks and machinery, as well as a passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other mechanics, drivers, and staff to uphold our mission of providing reliable transportation and logistics services. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using various tools and techniques
- Replace and repair components such as fuel injectors, starters, and transmissions
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with other mechanics to accomplish team goals
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in diesel mechanics preferred
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electronic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools for diesel engines
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
