Immediate job openings for Window Production in the Cedar Rapids, IA area! Our client is a well-established replacement window manufacturer.

Associates working at this location will perform a variety of tasks in the manufacturing and finishing process to make energy efficient, custom-made replacement vinyl windows. 

These are long term temporary assignments but can be temp to hire for exceptional candidates!

Must be able to work 40+ hour week. This can include weekends, holidays and overtime as required.

Pay: $16.50/hour for 1st shift and $18.00/hour for 2nd shift

Shift Hours: 5AM – 5PM for 1st shift and 5PM – 5AM for 2nd shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Read, follow, and understand stand work, procedures and directions supplied for window order to meet customer requirements

• Sorting and cutting material for each window order

• Assembly and reassembly of window parts

• Lift product and move units on production carts

• Clean, wrap, and prep product for installation and shipping

•Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace

General Description:

The Eligibility Coordinator will work under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences. The primary role is to determine eligibility and distribute benefits to the public efficiently and courteously.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform intake screening with clients; enter personal/client data into the computer; review and process applications; determine eligibility for programs by applying local, state, and federal policies.
  • Conduct in-person interviews and telephone screenings; summarize information; recommend determinations of eligibility based on submitted information and make appropriate referrals.
  • Review applications for accuracy and collect data; analyze and review documents submitted; advise applicants when more information is needed to determine eligibility; notify clients of the status of their application; send letters of determination.
  • Explain housing programs to clients; answer telephone and email inquiries and record phone call logs; make referrals to outside resources and coordinate with outside agencies.
  • Compile case files; prepare files for closing; review and close cases for 2nd party review; review difficult cases with supervisor to determine eligibility.
  • Perform related work as assigned.

 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two years of experience in human services, counseling, crisis intervention, or a closely related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual is a plus but not required
  • Excellent customer service and strong administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • HRIS Implementation and Integration:

    • Lead the implementation of HRIS software, including system configuration, data migration, and integration with existing systems.

  • Training and Documentation:

Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives and practices with organizational goals. This role supports a wide range of HR functions including talent management, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, and change management. The HRBP provides thought leadership, coaching, and HR expertise to help drive business performance and a positive employee experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their goals and provide HR support to achieve them.

  • Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Act as a consultant on human resource management and organizational changes.

  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.

  • Support and coach managers in handling employee relations issues, performance management, and conflict resolution.

  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and provide insights to improve organizational effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation) to deliver tailored solutions.

  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the business unit.

  • Lead or support key HR projects, such as organizational restructures or culture initiatives.

 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a business partner or similar strategic HR role.

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Certifications:

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
