Technology Support Specialist
Start right away. Now Hiring for a temporary/project Technology Support Specialist, starting asap. This position provides IS Help Desk functionality i.e.; Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personal requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Record and resolve all IS related service requests. Being well versed in computer hardware / software concepts and standards, this position will provide technical support and high quality customer service to the computer user community (employees, customer and vendors).
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years' experience, in Information Systems or related field
- Understanding of mid-range and PC hardware, software and peripherals along with conceptual understanding of systems interface requirements.
- Technical writing- ability to document changes and updates through word processing while adhering to departmental standards.
- Microsoft Office Specialist certification or equivalent experience.
Hours: Monday –Friday 8:30-5:00PM
No night and no weekends.

Recreation Attendant - Support Staff - After School and Summer Programs
We are actively seeking creative, energetic, and enthusiastic professionals for several temporary Support Staff and Recreational Counselor rolls at a multiple recreation programs in Fort Myers. There are full and part time positions available, in both the daytime and afternoon programs. Under the general direction of the Program Coordinator, the Recreational Counselors and Support Staff are responsible foremost for assisting with the safety and engagement of participants. In addition, our Recreational Counselors' expectations are to be active and attentive to the guidelines and needs of both the academic and recreational elements of the program. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, activity facilitation, instructional support, daily reporting, processing of registration, cash handling, customer service, miscellaneous paperwork, general clean up, and set up. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with the active engagement of participants in educational and recreational programs, and or activities.
- Assist with the execution of programs/lessons as assigned.
- Plan interactive activities for groups as assigned.
- Must have excellent behavior management skills and provide positive communication between parents and staff.
- Assist in the preparation, organization, and use of instructional aids, materials, and technology as directed.
- Provide information and instruction to clients with respect to buildings, facilities, and programs.
- Processing class registrations, record maintenance, and general cleanup is expected.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- This position requires regular and reliable attendance and the employee's physical presence at the workplace.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Skill to make sound judgment.
- Skilled to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
- Ability to operate necessary equipment including but not limited to, sporting equipment, computer, telephone, facsimile machine and copier.
- Ability to work in heat, humidity, and cool environment
Minimum Requirements
- May be a student currently enrolled in high school in pursuit of a high school diploma.
- Six (6) months experience working with children, education or recreation; and/or training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Mandatory Drug/Alcohol Testing required.
- Must obtain CPR, AED and First Aid Training Certification within twelve months of hire date.
- When assigned to working around Youth, must meet the Department of Children and Families (DCF) requirements and inspections.
- Bilingual Helpful (Spanish and/or Creole) but not necessary
Successful completion of Department of Children and Families (DCF) childcare competency training Part I required within ninety (90) days of hire or promotion; remaining Parts within one (1) year of hire or promotion; and annual in-service.

General Description:
The Eligibility Coordinator will work under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences. The primary role is to determine eligibility and distribute benefits to the public efficiently and courteously.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform intake screening with clients; enter personal/client data into the computer; review and process applications; determine eligibility for programs by applying local, state, and federal policies.
- Conduct in-person interviews and telephone screenings; summarize information; recommend determinations of eligibility based on submitted information and make appropriate referrals.
- Review applications for accuracy and collect data; analyze and review documents submitted; advise applicants when more information is needed to determine eligibility; notify clients of the status of their application; send letters of determination.
- Explain housing programs to clients; answer telephone and email inquiries and record phone call logs; make referrals to outside resources and coordinate with outside agencies.
- Compile case files; prepare files for closing; review and close cases for 2nd party review; review difficult cases with supervisor to determine eligibility.
- Perform related work as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years of experience in human services, counseling, crisis intervention, or a closely related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual is a plus but not required
- Excellent customer service and strong administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
