 Job Summary:

Local manufacturing company is looking for a Materials Handler that performs duties to insure the timely and proper movement of material in the warehouse to the production floor, and outside raw material locations to support production, engineering, and customer orders. The duties will include inventory consolidation, picking/packing orders in our shipping department, putting away stock and replenishing locations. Unloading trucks. Package, ship and receive orders via UPS, DHL, Federal Express, Airborne, conventional air and common LTL carriers. 

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities(include the following, other duties may be assigned)

• Maintain accurate control and location of stock movement.
• Assist in daily disbursement of raw material to the manufacturing floor.
• Maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and accurate cycle counts.
• Coordinate material movements with 3^rd party logistics companies including rail providers
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
• Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being. 

Required Qualifications: 

Education and/or Experience 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Competencies

• 1+ year working knowledge of lift trucks. (Fork Lifts)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification as defined by policies and procedures.
• Must be able to pass a vision test to support safe operation of powered industrial vehicles.

 Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years warehouse experience
• Knowledge or experience of inventory management in ERP systems.     
• 1+ year handheld scanner experience
• Knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience following SOPs

Job Summary for CNC Machinist Helper:

This position is assisting the CNC Machinist with running, sorting, handling machine parts associated with the CNC machine. The helper will not be responsible for operating the machine. Great opportunity to gain experience to become a future CNC Machinist.

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities will be training on: (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

• High level knowledge and training with CNC machine operations and programming
• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.

• Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Accounts Payable processing
• Filing/ Copying
• Verification of all necessary back-up for American Express account payments.

All candidates must clear the background/drug screening and skills testing. Selected candidate(s) will train for 8 weeks, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM for the position (subject to change). Once training is successfully completed, the candidates will receive their assigned schedules from company. Selected candidates must be available to work an 8 hour schedule between the hours of 6am-11pm after training is successfully completed.

Minimum Training and Experience

Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent recognized certificate and four years of staff, administrative, or professional experience that includes credit and collections, billing, accounts systems, or customer service; or possession of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

MAJOR FUNCTION

This is responsible clerical work in establishing service accounts requiring extensive public contact in handling specialized, difficult or problem accounts. Work is performed with considerable independence and under the general supervision of a supervisor. Work is reviewed through observation and inspection for accuracy through internal controls and by results obtained.

ESSENTIAL AND OTHER IMPORTANT JOB DUTIES

Meets the Customers interested in establishing service. Helps customers referred from subordinates due to complexity of accounts or customers seeking satisfaction at a higher level of administration. Establishes deposit requirements on major new commercial accounts. Works with superiors in gathering information and performing studies on services.
