Production Associate

Remedy is filling openings in sanding, assemble, boxing, mill, and finishing departments. 

Pay: $15.65/hour 

Hours: 1^stshift positions available

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete duties as assigned 

• Use computer-based tools for problem solving

• Take initiative and be a self-starter

• Communicate effectively with others in your department

• Be flexible in day to day task management

• Follow all good manufacturing practices - follow all safety rules including use of PPE

• Support quality control goals and meet daily/weekly quotas

Skill Requirements:

• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and reach for 8-10 hours
• Lift 10 – 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to be quality oriented and work in fast paced environment
• Ability to work with hands and hand tools
• Read and follow written instructions and visual training aids in English
• Work in a team environment and be flexible when production needs change
• Work environment temperature may vary based on task and location

Sonic Welder

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Pay: $16/Hour

Hours: 1^st shift – 5:00am-1:30pm

Job Responsibilities:  

• Sonic weld large pieces of canvas together using a sonic welding machine
• Lay out graphics on tent pieces
• Follow blueprints and accurately use a tape measurer 

Skill Requirements:

• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and reach for 8 hours
• Ability to work on concrete floors both standing and kneeing for long periods of time
• Able to lift and carrier large pieces of canvas tarps
• Able to read a tape measure
• Ability to follow written blueprints and directions in English
• Able to push, pull, and tug large canvas tarps for 8 hours a day
• High School diploma or GED

Sewing Machine Operator

Pay: $15/Hour

Hours: 1^st shift – 5:00am-1:30pm

Job Responsibilities:  

• Operate industrial sewing machines to join, gather, hem, reinforce, or decorate articles
• Manufacture products made from various canvas material into large shade coverings and awnings

Skill Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 8 hours
• Ability to read/write and comprehend oral instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to use and read tape measures and have previous Industrial Sewing Experience.
• Ability to sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using a pushing and/or pulling movement
• High School diploma or GED required
